The Oyster Rockafella is delicious along with Roast beef Sliders, price is reasonable.
You must sit on the bar side to use the bar menu ! Ribs are awesome for $21 you can't beat them !

Great food and service! Bar is always hoppin'. I had the prime rib. It's amazing. It came with soup or salad and potato. I opts for grilled veggies instead of potato and they are perfectly grilled and seasoned Will definitely go back!
AWESOME, INCREDIBLE, PHENOMENAL!!!! Mel the bartender is the ultimate in service, grace, friendliness and just all around great times. Walking in and seeing her face is the BEST! The food is fantastic, the drinks are awesome, the crowd there is fun, and it's just an overall winner. But don't spread the word too much, because it already gets too busy there :) So much love for this amazing place.
A "new" spot for us, not new to Palm Desert just us We have been coming to Palm Desert for 25+ years, always drove by, well we decided to stop (a friend did suggest it!) and we did! Fortunately we found 2 seats at the bar, all the reservations had the tables committed~ we like sitting at the bar so this was PERFECT FULL BAR, and heavy pours with friendly bartenders, what more could you ask for? While not fancy, it's a friendly atmosphere, lots of locals for sureBe sure to make reservations..... the menu is full of lots & lots of terrific choices. I had the chopped sirloin steak with mashed potatoes, veggies + soup or salad too!!! The hubs had the ribs, cold slaw, bbq beans, soup or salad. We BOTH were sooooo happy with our choices, couldn't believe we hadn't been to Cactus Jack's before This won't happen again!!!!
An old school kind of restaurant that we thoroughly enjoyed. Reservations are a MUST. We were prompted seated in a nice booth at our reservation time. Our server Amanda was busy, but acknowledged us. We started w a classic old fashioned and dark rum negroni; the pours were so generous they could be mistaken for doubles. We especially appreciated that entrees come with soup or salad, and sides. We ordered a steak, and a pork chop. They were both well presented and cooked perfectly. Our couple glasses of red wine were generously poured! The room was busy in a good way; warm and full of energy. Amanda was a tremendous server. She was attentive and professional yet friendly and personable. We'd ask for her again. Their bar was in a separate room and it was busy too; they had outdoor space for smokers. Well done Cactus Jack's. We'd driven by lots over the years; recently a friend recommended it. We'll be back!
